More About Me
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent more than 30 years working with people in leadership and customer-focused roles. This gave me an understanding of the pressures that can arise through work, relationships, responsibilities and significant life changes.
My own experiences have also shaped my appreciation of grief, identity and the importance of feeling accepted. As a gay male counsellor, I offer LGBTQ+ affirmative counselling where you do not have to explain or defend who you are. I also work in a neurodiversity-informed way.
I trained in Person-Centred Therapy and hold a Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a Registered Member of the BACP
